Manga/Comic Week at Baumhuus

Who is it for?Children and young people aged 7 and up.

Cost:CHF 5 cash/card/Twint per timeslot (1st slot: 10:00–13:00, 2nd slot: 14:00–18:00, Sat: 10:00–16:00)

Note for parents:Please note that children and young people are not supervised at this event. They must be able to arrive and leave independently. Children who do not follow the rules may no longer be able to participate and will be asked to leave the Baumhuus.

Rules of conduct during the Manga/Comic Week:

• The reading area is a no-shoes zone; jackets and bags can be left at the cloakroom downstairs. Shoes should be placed on the shoe rack.
• Please handle all comics and manga carefully, as if they were your own.
• Everyone reads or draws quietly on their own; please keep conversations to a whisper.
• The upper area is intended exclusively for reading and drawing.

In the upper area of the Baumhuus, a little paradise awaits all manga and comic fans! A colorful selection of exciting stories and fantastic illustrations is freely available to the children and young people here. They can make themselves comfortable on cozy seating, dive into the world of their favorite heroes, or simply flip through the pages in a relaxed way. Those who want to get creative can grab a pen and paper—or use the large board—and draw cool manga and comic characters directly from the books. Whether reading or drawing, there's something for everyone!
