Family workshop 'Gilding'

Really golden? In this workshop for families and adults we show how gilding is done. Try the technique yourself and create a small gold object.

'Just' gilded? On the contrary: gilding is a fine art. In this workshop for families and adults, participants look at gilded objects and learn how the craft of gilding works.

With a little patience and a delicate touch, participants can then try gilding themselves. A small natural object thus becomes a personal golden treasure!

For families with children aged 8 and up.

Tickets (museum admission plus CHF 10.– per person) must be collected at the reception no later than 20 minutes before the event starts; otherwise they will be released. Capacity is limited to 18 people.
