Garden Afternoons at the Gurtengärtli

On Wednesdays and Sundays the Gurtengärtli opens its gates for free garden afternoons. Children immerse themselves in the exciting world of nature and learn in a playful way about the cycles of plants and animals. There is plenty to discover – from surprising facts about habitats to little adventures in the garden.

The offering is free, requires no registration and only takes place in good weather. An afternoon full of nature experiences that sparks curiosity and delights the little explorers.

The Gurtengärtli is a joint project of Bioterra, Gurten – Park im Grünen and Migros-Kulturprozent. Since 2016 the garden has developed into a place of biodiversity. Located in the middle of the park, it delights with its colorful plant life and its lovingly designed layout. On an area of 650 m² there is always something to discover. The nature garden invites you to experience the diversity of the seasons, to gather peace and inspiration, and to discover and learn through play.
