Themed weekend 'Día de Muertos'

To the departed, to family and to life!

Together with the Mexican Embassy in Switzerland, the Bern Historical Museum invites you to a colorful themed weekend around the holiday 'Día de Muertos'.

For one weekend the museum will be transformed into a colorful presentation of Mexican culture and traditions. With an ofrenda (altar for the dead), a wide range of workshops for young and old, as well as dance, film and music, we explore Mexican customs for the Day of the Dead. Market stalls and traditional dishes complete the celebrations.

The program is primarily aimed at children and families. Of course, there's plenty for adults to discover as well.
